Having Custom Audience for Story Groups
Custom Audience enables you to target specific users by matching the user-related information between the CSV file you upload and the custom parameter variable that Storyly SDK gets from your application.
While the user-related information can be anything like a user ID or an email address; it is crucial to upload a single column CSV file containing this info. If a user’s information is found in the CSV file by exact matching, then the Story Group is displayed to that user.
You simply just go under Audiences and add your CSV audience file.
Once you are done, you can use your CSV file while creating a Story Group.
This is the quickest way to show relevant content to dynamic user segments!
Remember
You have to have your custom parameter setup between Storyly SDK & your app. For custom parameter setup, you can check the recipe given below and share it with your Dev Team.
Example Usage
Below, you can see an example usage of Custom Audience. There are two different Story Groups with separate Custom Audiences, which are How-to and Discover. User 123 is included in the first audience and user 321 is included in the second audience.
When user 123 opens the app, How-to Story Group becomes visible. When user 321 opens the app, Discover Story Group becomes visible. If the user is not included in any audience, only the public content stays visible.
