# Activating Sharable Stories in Storyly

How to activate and use sharable stories?

Here is a great way to have your content spread by your users!

With the help of Storyly now you can activate and use "Sharable Stories". When you activate "Sharable Stories", your users will be able to click on the share icon on your stories and share them with their friends, family and many others.

When your users click on share icon, they can copy link or share instantly on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, message, e-mail etc.

To activate Sharable Stories, go on to Account Management from menu and click on **Apps & Websites**,

Click on Set URL Scheme if your App or Website don't have a Custom URL Scheme set.

Simply enter your **Custom URL Scheme** and click on **Update** .

Custom URL schemes provide a way to reference resources inside your app. Users tapping a custom URL in an email, for example, launch your app in a specified context. Other apps can also trigger your app to launch with specific context data; for example, a photo library app might display a specified image.

On Storyly, you can set your Custom URL Schemes for your mobile apps to use Sharable Stories & [Deep Links](https://docs.storyly.io/docs/setting-up-a-custom-url-scheme-and-finding-deep-links-for-stories) features.

Right after setting up the Custom URL Scheme switch the Sharable Stories button and all good to go.

You can track which story has been shared and how many times it has been shared from Storyly dashboard in **Analytics** page.
